Wear your love for our big loveable hoiho with this embroidered iron on patch!

Hoiho / Yellow-eyed Penguins are the largest penguin in NZ, they are distinguished by their unique yellow eyes and fancy eye band. Hoiho won the hearts of NZ when they took out the coveted Bird of the Year crown in 2019 but unfortunately these birds are in serious decline. The fishing industry, climate change, habitat loss and mammalian predators are all to blame for their endangered status.

For every one of these patches sold I’ll be donating $5 to the Yellow-eyed Penguin Trust to help with their ongoing efforts to protect the habitat and breeding areas of these vulnerable birds.

The patch can be ironed on or sewn onto backpacks, jumpers, beanies, anything you can think of!

• Measures approx 9.5cm high by 4.5cm wide

Please note the patch can only be ironed onto natural fabrics like cotton, denim, canvas etc, it cannot be ironed on to synthetic materials.
