Wear your love for our rarest bird with this embroidered iron on patch!

Tara iti / Fairy Terns are NZ’s rarest endemic bird. Their tiny population hovers around 40 individuals, can you believe that, just 40 of these precious birds are in existence. I have a real soft spot for these sweet little shorebirds, so I’ve made these patches for those of you that have a soft spot for them too.

For every one of these patches sold I’ll be donating $5 to the New Zealand Fairy Tern Charitable Trust, to help them protect these birds and ensure we don’t lose them forever.

The patch can be ironed on or sewn onto backpacks, jumpers, beanies, anything you can think of!

• Measures approx 6.5cm high by 7cm wide
• Comes with backing board
• Iron or sew on patch
• Patches are made individually so very minor details may vary

Please note the patch can only be ironed onto natural fabrics like cotton, denim, canvas etc, it cannot be ironed on to synthetic materials.
