I’ve been writing a lot of posts about our smallest bird, Rifleman, lately and this one is the most exciting. I have been to Zealandia a few times since they’re been released and I got some pretty good photos of one of the females last week. It was pretty exciting to say the least, especially since so many photographers have been trying to get photos of these tiny birds and haven’t managed to spot them. I’m going to have one more attempt this week of getting a good photos of one of the males, before heading down to the south island for a week.
