This original brown creeper pīpīpī illustration is lovingly hand painted in gouache (opaque watercolour).

Each of my illustrations are inspired by real-life bird encounters and are referenced from my own photographs. I aim to highlight the distinctive features of each bird while celebrating their unique characteristics and charm.

Original illustration.
Hand painted in gouache on archival art paper.
Paper size is 225x174mm (in between A5 and A4).
Hand signed and packaged flat in sturdy cardboard.

Framing advice: I chose this size paper so it can fit nicely inside an 8x10inch frame with either a 6x8inch or 5x7inch matt board.

Please note that this illustration will be scanned and the bird will appear on some of my other native bird themed products eg. stationery.
