I realised I never wrote a blog post about the poster I made for Zealandia Ecosanctuary last year, so here it is! I was lucky enough to be chosen to design and illustrate the Birds of Zealandia poster, it features all of the birds that can be found at the wonderful Zealandia Ecosanctuary, a place very close to my heart. If you follow me on social media you’ll notice that I visit Zealandia regularly, I live very close by and I volunteer there helping to track the tītipounamu/Rifleman.
The poster features my illustrations of the birds, as well as both their english and Māori names. It was lots of fun to make and work with the wonderful people of Zealandia and I’m glad to say that the poster has been really well received. The poster is only available directly from the Zealandia Store, they’re working on making it available through their website.
