A bushy adventure - part 2
This post continues on from my previous one about the special sanctuary that is Bushy Park Tarapuruhi. I had so many photos to share from my day there that I had to split it into two posts! In this batch are some cute toutouwai/Robins, pīwakawaka/Fantails, tīeke/Saddlebacks, kererū and a Magpie at the end.
I absolutely loved my day at Bushy Park, the weather was perfect and the birds were happy and plentiful. The Robins were especially friendly, and I loved hanging out with them and letting them hop all around me. If you’re considering a visit I definitely recommend it, it’s a nice day trip out of Wellington, and the walks are easy, there’s even a nice wetland area. All and all it’s a very special place to spend a day and you can even stay the night in the historic homestead or bunkhouse (I’ve stayed in both!) check out the Bushy Park website for more info!
