My first exhibition!

I have been hard at work creating a series of illustrations for my very first exhibition titled ‘Nestled’ - a celebration of the safety the Predator Proof fence at Zealandia provides the precious life within. I’m so excited that my fist exhibition is at Zealandia Ecosanctuary, it’s very fitting because visiting Zealandia is what really got me interested in native birds in the first place.

I have been sharing a few sneak peeks at the illustrations that will be on display, and I’ve still got some work to do, but I’m really happy with how it’s shaping up. The exhibition runs for the month of September, and I’m having a special ‘Meet the Artist + Pop Up Shop’ day on the 1st of September, where I’ll have a table set up in the Zealand foyer selling my illustrated goods.

I’m really hoping to see some friendly faces on the day, and hopefully some people I haven’t met that are interested in what I do! It can be quite isolating being an artist working from home so hopefully a few people take the opportunity to come and chat with me in person.
