Tiny green (and brown) birds

Last week I wrote about how excited I was that Titipounamu (NZ Rifleman) had been introduced to my local sanctuary, Zealandia. Since then I have visited a couple of times and last Thursday I managed to spot some! I was with Hannah Shand who is a local artist and friend, and needless to say it was super exciting. We could hear the birds calling to each other (they were a couple) and we both managed to get some far away photos of them, not the best photos ever but better than we expected, I can’t wait to go back again for more attempts!
