Zealandia winter walk

Yesterday I had to drop some prints and ceramics into the Zealandia gift shop and thought it was a good excuse to go for a quick walk and spend some time with the birds. I've been working hard on my illustrations for my calendars and getting a bit stressed out about deadlines, so it was nice to focus on nature instead of what's going on inside my head. Needless to say it wasn't long before I started feeling more relaxed and happier, the birdsong first thing in the morning is incredible. I never take Zealandia for granted, I'm so lucky to live so close to this wonderful place, it's truly magical. I came across a spot where the lighting was perfect and took quite a few landscape photos. Here are a few photos from my walk.
