A new year

2015 is well and truly underway and I wanted to share how I spend the first day of the year. I started the year off in a relaxing way, just down the road at the bird filled haven, Zealandia. Here are my best photos of the day, there were the usual suspects, Robins, Takahe and some young Bellbirds which I enjoyed watching flutter and play fight with each other.

I'm not usually one for new years resolutions but this year I really want to make time to create some art, so I might be posting progress on that mission here soon. I also want to include more colour in my designs to brighten everything up a bit, although I do love classic black I think colour definitely adds something different.
